Leica M6; Fujifilm Superia 400 pushed..
I needed that..
Armed with my M6 and the 90mm collapsible Elmar I set out to casually explore, with no great purpose or direction, the sights of Melbourne.
Composition, colour and geometrically driven, I sought moments that interacted with my chosen scenes, ready to capture them onto pushed Fujifilm Superia 400; my selected film palette of choice in recent months..
The pace of the city hadn’t slowed despite heavy evidence of the bushfires by way of thick smoke obscuring the streets. (I’m still coughing a little from four days of smoke inhalation)
Coffee, camera, and casual exploration netted me nine rolls of exposed film and inspiration for more street exploration in hometown Adelaide.
