Just when you think you are able to predict the results of film, something unique happens.
The blue of this image certainly doesn’t represent what was seen on the night, however, it definitely is a welcome surprise.
Fujifilm Superia pushed to 800 creates some unusual but welcome colour shifts mainly in the green shadows and magenta highlight. I’m not sure what caused the extreme blue in this image, whether it was from the general colour of ’blue hour’ or the lighting, or a combination of both with the added colour shifts from the underexposed film.
Looking forward to more pushed Superia 400 surprises!
