Leica M6; Superia 400 pushed to 1600; Cinestill C41
Superia 400 is not a film that has a great latitude for pushing according to sources.
I first pushed (underexposed) Superia 400 whole in Hong Kong thinking it was black and white film for some reason.
This time around I left my meter set to 1600 after using some Kodak TriX and simply forgot to turn it back. The results were a little surprising.
The cyan shadows become more exaggerated as does the yellow and magenta highlights. The murky colours really appeal to me creating a unique and defining your film-like quality.
Despite the accidental push, I’ll happily be under exposing the colour film by one stop in future.
