Autumn in Adelaide..

Leica M6; Fujifilm Superia 400 pushed to 800

It started out as a mistake..

Thinking that the Fujifilm Superia 400 film I had popped into my camera was black and white, I immediately pushed it to 800 without a second thought.

What came back from the lab was a colour palette that I absolutely fell in love with!

Crazy green hues in the shadows and very warm highlights that created a somewhat complementary colour scheme.

I later read of Fujifilm’s discouragement of pushing this film due to these effects. However, it has revealed a colour palette that I have been seeking in a colour film.

Win!

As a result, I’ll be using more colour film during our cooler months just to see what I can come up with..
