I realise that the above photo is another proverbial log on the street photography’s fire of average to below-average walking imagery.
It’s a cheap shot at garnering targeted likes from a community of image makers who are searching for that elusive gold nugget image in the hope that it will launch their profile into viral fame.
This image is no gold nugget.
..and yet, I too am compelled to photograph the stride as if lured by a musical spell created from a mythical flautist leading us like rats to our deaths in the river of mediocrity and beige imagery.
The seemingly never ending production line of cloned visuals that represent the millions of other images that saturate our tiny mobile screens. One after the other. An initiation of the last.
Like little Lemmings in the shape of a human captured at 1/125th of a second.

Despite my acknowledgement of the aforementioned, it is with little regret that I will still capture at least one stride per roll, perpetuation the motion and action of a camera equipped lemming just like a million others around the world.
Back to it..
