Patience.
I don’t know how long I was waiting here for just one person to walk down the stairs, but patience paid off.
When out and about doing street photography, I always have this feeling that’s akin to being late for a bus. That is, a little bit of anxiety that something amazing is happening just around the corner, and I’ll see only the remnants of it as I arrive on the scene. Waiting in a location for any period of time is agonising, which is why I tend to continually walk when in the street.
At least this time something happened, and if something actually did happen around the corner, I remained blissfully unaware of it!
I feel you on that. Patients and perfect timing.
